Posing as Chuck Norris, I lured this 419 scammer from Johannesburg to Cape Town. Twice. This is a clip of the first non-meeting.

The point of revenge is that you get back at the people who wronged you, not uninvolved 3rd parties born decades or centuries later.

The one I was getting constantly for a few months was about a rich businessman (or men, since I received the same letter, only with different names maybe a dozen times) in the Ivory Coast who was trying to flee the civil war and needed to transfer his funds out of their bank, but could only do so when he got out of the country for fear of corrupt local officials, which would require me, in exchange for a princely sum, to forward him the money for his ticket.

Many of these scammers assure the victims ( and they ARE victims) that the money transfers are legal. There have been some people who have committed suicide after their life savings have been depleted. You can argue that they’re gullible and naive but to equate victims of fraud with the criminals is absurd.

next time, make them do something embarrassing and film it, have the scammer wear all pink with a girly hat
