An email arrives offering you a fortune.

It is sent by what looks like a national bank or some other authoritative or reputable institution asking you for help in moving money which is about to be confiscated. All you have to do is discreetly help the sender transfer millions of pounds out of their country. The need to do this is always blamed on some great misfortune that has occurred in that country.

You will be asked to send details of your bank account to start the transaction and told you’ll be on your way to becoming a millionaire. Trust me, it IS a scam. Avoid.
