TD Band would rather imply that I am a crook, than to give me back my money. I have filed police reports for the credit card fraud that was perpetrated on me. Still, after over a month I have had no satisfaction on this issue. Just because someone got my pin number and used my card, is no reason to imply that I was the one who used the card. Every store has camaras that can capture your pin number, so when they duplicate your card, they can take your money from an ATM.

I just filed a small claims lawsuit against Bank of America, and threatened a larger suit if I’m unsuccessful. Look it up at the ‘related videos’ on the right, (Nader advocates it), often times just filing a small claims against a corporation, which anyone can do, will force them to give in, as they don’t want to pay someone to go defend it. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

The coup de grace here is that B of A claims to provide these overdrafts “AS A COURTESY” I’m not joking, that’s what I was told by customer service. Yes, instead of declining my card for the 99 cent coke I just bought, I’d much rather prefer you allow me to charge it and then penalize me $35, that’s great.Even if you have a positive amount in your account, overdraft fees are still a threat because a merchant might not send his charge out for months, and B of A of course doesn’t warn you.

The key here is if your bank account operates at a low level, say less than $100, and for whatever reason you cannot keep perfect track of what your spending, like you’re traveling, (I guess they assume you’re supposed to carry a calculator or accounting scroll around), you’re going to be screwed by these overdraft fees.

You didn’t mention anything about the re-sequencing of pending transactions from low to high. I have paid over $2000 in overdraft fees since 2009 because of this scam. I am trapped with BofA a couple more years for various business reasons. PM me and I will send you all the nasty details. BofA sucks!!!!!!!!
