I got an email saying that there was a bug in one of the popular payment processors.
It said that if I sent money to some “admin address,” a glitch in the system would end up paying me twice that money back, but that I had to hurry to take advantage before they closed the loophole.
Wow. Talk about targeted. The only people who’d fall for that are thieves themselves.
Here’s the scam: The “admin address” is really the address the scammer uses for that payment processor.
