Lottery Scams

by Alun Hill MCIJ

I’ll be blunt.
How can you win a lottery that you haven’t entered?
If lotteries made awards to those who hadn’t bought a ticket, why would anyone buy a ticket in the first place?
If you receive a letter / email saying you’ve won – it’s a scam.
They’ll bill you for all sorts of upfront fees – and if you pay them, you’ll never hear from them again.
