(UPDATE: Mrs Burch has confirmed in an email to us that this site was closed as a result of our investigations. She has told UKScams:

“all I will say is the reason www.homeworkpays.co.uk was pulled was due to your libellous statements causing me to loose (sic) money.).

Again, no response has been received from Donna Burch to our questions. (UPDATE: Sept 4th, 2008. Mrs Donna Burch has contacted us and agreed to be interviewed. We have supplied a list of questions to her.).

UPDATE: Sept 5th, 2008. She now appears to have decided not to answer our questions after all, but has issued the following statement for publication, which we reproduce with her spelling:

all of what you say is factually incorrect. my service addres is po box 13444, sutton coldfield, b73 9ha so please get any residential listing you have of your site immediately. do you really think my accountant would speak to you who i feel i have and are being harrassed and stalked by. the terms and conditions and disclaimer are clearly written on the site. also the site is nearly 2 years old and you are refering to it as new. … do you honestly have nothing better to do then harras women. are you married with children yourself!!!    once again take of the article in the next 2 hours or be prepared to defend it in court. also if you keep harrassing me i will get the police to talk to you. the ball is now in your court, you have cost me money and you know very well i will take steps to recover it. so just remove your articles and we can both get on with our lives.

(Oh, and if you’re a “friend” of theirs, there’s no point in calling us – you’d do better to get them to contact us with answers to our questions, so that we can give our opinion as to whether or not this is a scam. Hint!)

We’re particularly anxious to hear from anyone who has made any money from these schemes.

Clearly David and Donna Burch are earning in excess of £1 million each year, assuming they also operate their recommended schemes themselves. David Burch was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months for his part in a fraud.

There are “testimonies” on the site (we presume they mean “testimonials”, of course, a testimony being a solemn statement made under oath ), but we have not managed to contact these people, and note they have kindly left the same “testimonies” on the other site, coincidentally.
