Scam Question: I remember a couple of years ago, it was all over the news about the counterfeit toothpaste made overseas and sold in our stores b/c they were mistaken for real toothpaste. But some ppl claim that there’s a way to tell the fake from the real ones. Does anyone remember how to do this?

Check that the bar code is right on the tube no sticker bar code.
Also the bottom crimp, always has the expiration date or lot # imprinted on it. These are two tell tale signs that it is authentic . They do this so that you can contact them ,using the lot # if you call because the batch might be faulty.
